CHRISTMAS CHEER BALLS

Every week until Christmas, we will be posting  a Christmas delight that can double as a fun holiday activity.

Christmas cheer balls are a healthy Christmas treat for the whole family to enjoy, including the kids. Just don’t mention they are healthy.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 GRAMS PLAIN SWEET BISCUITS
  • 1 CAN CONDENSED SWEETENED MILK
  • CUP COCONUT DESICCATED
  • ¼ CUP COCOA POWDER
  • ONE AND HALF CUPS OF DESICCATED COCONUT  (FOR ROLLING)

METHOD

  1. Crush the biscuits until they resemble fine crumbs using either a food processor, blender or rolling pin and then place into a large bowl.
  2. Stir through the cocoa powder, desiccated coconut and sweetened condensed milk until well coated.
  3. Using your hands, roll heaped teaspoons of the mixture into balls and then roll through the extra coconut to coat.
  4. Place in fridge for 3 hours to set.
