O ur Miss Tash is your Lead Educator in the Dolphins (Gwonda) room. Gwonda meaning dolphin in Yugambeh Language and is diploma qualified. Miss Tash has moved up with the children from the Nursery room and has a sound understanding of the developmental milestones for this age group.

Outdoor classroom: The undercover verandah, main yard & environmental yard are Dolphins outdoor curriculum environments to facilitate outdoor learning.

In this room we encourage self-help skills, learning to eat with cutlery, sitting still at group time, learning days of the week, colours, counting to 5, reciting acknowledgment of country in a modified version with actions, singing growth mindset song , sensory play, fine and gross motor skills and toilet training. Educators use positive virtues to converse with the children.

The EYLF stands for Early Years Learning Framework and represents the choice of many alternatives. Guiding children as they practice and learn about respectful interactions forms a basis for life long learning.

We Integrate our specialty programs into the curriculum for optimum growth. These programs are modified to every age group and embedded throughout the centre.

“Empowering Our Youth” Aboriginal inspired collaborated with a traditional elder;

“Bush Kindy” nature inspired; and

“Mindful Kids” certified RESILIENCE program, . The certified resilience program is facilitated by our licensee who is a qualified Resilience Facilitator and Mindset Life Coach. Our Resilience program is acknowledged by the ‘WHO’ & the mental wellness charities’ Livin’.org’. and ‘KickOn’. We are the only Childcare Centre on the Gold Coast qualified to run a certified Resilience program.
