M iss Hannelie welcome’s you to Snakes room (Jomgwong) Jomgwong meaning snake in Yugambeh Language, which is the language our Indigenous region. Miss Hannalie comes to us with 13 years experience, an advanced diploma and a sound knowledge of the early childhood framework. Her nurturing, creative nature brings a freshness to the room. Miss Hannalie teams up with Miss Sky who is diploma qualified and has assisted in every age group. Sky teams up nicely with Hannelie with a sound understanding of reaching Developmental milestones.
In our “Mindful Kids” resilience program , the children learn how to Recognise, normalise and pivot through emotions.
The EYLF program supports the basic learning curriculum. This is called the emergent curriculum and it responds to, expands and builds upon their ideas and interests of the children in the group, collectively and individually. The educator plays a pivotal role as co learner, facilitator and observer.
We Integrate our specialty programs into the curriculum for optimum growth. These programs are modified to every age group and embedded throughout the centre.

“Bush Kindy” nature inspired; and
“Mindful Kids” certified RESILIENCE program, . The certified resilience program is facilitated by our licensee who is a qualified Resilience Facilitator and Mindset Life Coach. Our Resilience program is acknowledged by the ‘WHO’ & the mental wellness charities’ Livin’.org’. and ‘KickOn’. We are the only Childcare Centre on the Gold Coast qualified to run a certified Resilience program.
Apart from the national curriculum and specialty programs, we focus on gross and fine motor skills, sensory play, mastering toilet training, counting to 20, shapes, colours, swish and Swallow after lunch and healthy eating habits.
The colour psychology behind Pink relates to understanding, giving and receiving of nurturing, compassion and love. It’s a soft feel good colour that compliments the environment.
Children will transition to the pre prep room when they are socially ready and age appropriate.
